Altiorlab calibrates optical particle counters used for particle monitoring in cleanrooms, isolators, RABS, classified environments and continuous monitoring systems, in accordance with our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration scope.
Why optical particle counter calibration is critical
Calibrating an optical particle counter is essential to ensure the reliability of particle contamination data, both in environmental classification activities and in routine monitoring. In the pharmaceutical sector, particle data is a critical element for managing the contamination control strategy, for GMP compliance and for correctly assessing the operating conditions of classified areas.
The service applies to portable, handheld and remote counters, as well as counters integrated into monitoring systems.
Calibration capabilities (CMC)
Calibration is carried out in conformity with ISO 21501-4, covering particle size, counting efficiency, size resolution, false count, coincidence loss, sampling flow rate, sampling time and response rate. Our accredited scope allows activities to be performed at our permanent laboratory, on-site at the customer’s premises and via the REDIGO mobile laboratory.
